EQ and The Social Network
If there is one film you have to see this year it is The Social Network. The film is about the development of Facebook, the modern phenomenon of our time. The hero (?) is Mark Zuckerberg (played by Jesse Eisenberg) and his two foils are Eduardo Savarin (played by Andrew Garfield) and Sean Parker, founder of Napster (played superbly by Justin Timberlake). One of the most interesting articles I have read this year was in The New Yorker, 28 November 2011 issue about Peter Thiel, who was described by the magazine as the most successful technology investor currently alive. Many of you would have seen an actor portraying Thiel in The Social Network; he is the West Coast Angel who makes the first investment in Facebook.
